Why read this “book” (I prefer to call it a collection of thoughts)? Well, there are many reasons why not to, but at least there are a few ones so as to give it a try.
Which ones you might ask?... Well, I don't know, sure you have your own reasons to do so, but I'll give you mine, so as to give a little insight of how my vision of the world is right now.
The reasons are
Perspective, Temporal cockiness, Love revenge, Self-awareness, Feel arty, Time, Cheap life philosophy, Lose dadaist phrases and Wanna be songs

Reflexions Crappy Poetry and a Love Letter A nonsubstantial guide of poems and reflexions for a modern era eBook Nicholas Bluebocks

I am not sure that I should even try to review this work. It is fairly far out of my ordinary experience, an unusual combination of cerebral, complex, and off-the-cuff writing. So as always, do not let my star count override your judgement of content. More on the stars, counting, and my rating challenges later. I’ll try to give you a feel for this work.

There is the occasional breakthrough of introspection, often in an internal monologue to a missing second person. This occurs in It’s Not My Fault, where we find this: “Blame the others, those who failed to love me before you and me. /Theirs is the fault, because I learnt from them.”

This occurs again in A Failed Redemption, where we find this: “To be honest we don't discuss her philosophies /To be honest, we don't discuss /To be honest, It's more of a monologue /To be honest, it's me patronizing her.”

Carps? The typos all got fixed. The book is unusual. I hope these examples will let you know what to expect when you acquire this work. Back to the text.

For an interesting insight turn to Thieves, which begins with these lines: “We are the thieves /The ones who seek inspiration in others deeds /The masters of unlost losses. /Enhancers of what has been done. /Polishers of the robbed Ruby. /Exhibitionists of the brute diamond.”

Again, Bluebocks can surprise the reader, as in Killer Mood where we find this elongated line: “And though once the little prince said you cannot hate all roses because one hurt you, I know all of them have thorns, and guess what little Mr.? I only know one way to pick a flower.”

Finally, I should mention the incredible, complex, conflicted prose piece Letter to an Ex-Girlfriend. This is something you need to read over more than once. I’m still not sure I get all of it.

By this point you should understand my challenge in rating this work. It is a scattershot of interesting ideas, and different from my normal realm of reviewing. And I need to come up with a star count. My personal guidelines, when doing an ‘official’ KBR review, are as follows: five stars means, roughly equal to best in genre. Rarely given. Four stars means, extremely good. Three stars means, definitely recommendable. I am a tough reviewer. If this book is your cup of tea, you’ll agree with me that three stars is for sure warranted. If your personal rating is higher, then Bluebocks’ work is definitely for you.
