This is the first book I've read by Megan Linski but it won't be the last. This book has interesting, flawed characters that make the best of what life has thrown at them. This is a fast read. It has a very interesting twist that keeps the story moving and surprising. A great read!!!

This is a story of a twisted young women named Annabelle who runs a cult and of a young women Christie who has been a follower of hers for three years. Christie is scared of Annabelle but decides to run away. She trusts a boy named Landon who is also a follower and he gives her $300 to run away. As she tries to get away the cult group jumps her and beats her almost to death. They leave her on the street to die but she is found by Ian and that is where Christies life starts to change. The author created a great story with well developed characters. There are a lot of twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I did not put down the book until I had finished reading it because I found I was so invested in the story and characters. I was given this book and in return just asked to give an honest review. I really thought the author did an amazing job of hooking me with the storyline, the characters and all cruelty of life.

This book was extremely interesting, and definitely not what I was expecting! These Starcrossed Lives of Ours was an amazing, fast paced book that kept me interested until the very end. It was very shocking to say the least, and I loved the story.

The storyline was all over the place in terms of events and I thought it was really cool. I wasn't expecting this kind of book, and it took me by surprise. I liked that there were plenty of twists and turns and you never knew what to expect with these characters.

The characters were fun to get to know as well. One of the biggest plot twists had to do with some of the main characters, and it was absolutely insane. The characters meshed together really well and I loved the different combination of people that we got to see.

This novel was adorable, and we aren't left with a cliffhanger. I think we could possibly see a sequel, although everything seems to be resolved throughout the book. I really liked this book, and I have to give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Megan Linski can make me read anything even romance. This book is totally different from what I had expected from her previous work though.

It started in the darkness. The main character is like a broken doll who is trying to fight for herself through big decision but she doesn't seem to see through the impact they will have. This makes the story very interesting because as she is struggling to keep her head out of the water, she only catch breathes when she thinks about what she is trying to avoid.
I also like the introduction to Christianity and how outsiders tend to see it and the fact that the characters are more described following their human condition than their believes.

The only down side is that I would have liked to see more of that "the cult" is because it doesn't seem like a religious cult unless Annabelle is the goddess. It would have also been nice to have a third POV, I would have loved to see the thoughts of Annabelle and to learn how she became who she is. She doesn't really seem as smart as she is depicted in the first place and that bothered me a little.
Another point is the murder or more exactly the three years without murders for Christine. As Annabelle's right hand, I would have expected her to be her first tool as well and seeing the death rate in the novel I wonder why Christine doesn't have more blood on her hands.

And I know that this review so far doesn't sound like this book is a romance but if you read it, you'll see huge part with this caring guy around who seemed to be the only young character to think with his heart while still managing not to make too many mistakes.

It's a fun read, you should go grab it while it's hot.

Our first introduction to Christine isn't exactly the best impression. I can understand why she did it afterward but at first it seems terrible and unconscionable. Especially once we understand why Christine did what she did and what she became part of. Cults aren't typically raised in romance books and so it was a unique plot. It was intriguing to see that look into a cult leader's mindset as well as a cult in general.

Ian on the other hand was comfortable and made the story more humorous. He was adorable and I easily fell in love with him. I don't think anyone could resist once they got to know him. That doesn't mean he has or had the perfect life but it does mean that he's doing the best he can with the hand he's dealt. And helping others as well.

And then there was a huge shocker that I honestly didn't expect but really should have seen coming. It was one of those things that you think possibly could happen but dismiss it once you hear more details. So I was shocked to discover the truth behind Annabeth's past.

These Starcrossed Lives of Ours was an intriguing read that was well written.
